There are no cups or first places on the podium. Nobody gives away cash prizes. And yet the popularity of automotive off-road is not decreasing. Is it just entertainment for the bored with the rich? What is unusual about destroying cars in the mud?

I met them several times, participants and organizers of Off-road rallies. They were ordinary people, although they had one unusual feature. They were not afraid of challenges. It is a great satisfaction to be aware of overcoming your doubts, this fear that accompanies us every day that it will fail. For observers of drivers’ struggles this is a normal show but for participants of recreational of-road it is a lesson in humbleness and emotion control. It is a school of skills for accurate assessment of situations and trade-offs of cooperation with others. It can be considered a typically male occupation, but I noticed the presence of female drivers on off-road expeditions and they are not ladies who get hysterical about the cell phone signal. Women also love such emotions, and at the same time their calmness and composure in difficult situations can surprise and impress more than one man. In such an environment of-road drivers are always treated with admiration and by other women with envy.

Off-road popularity also brings business features. You can earn money by organizing such journeys if you have wasteland, and the greater the diversity of land excluding land use, the better it will be for off-road. Additionally, you can buy several old off-road cars without registration and rent them for integration events for companies. Surviving recreation is an increasingly popular business and indicates that it will continue to grow in Poland. (Brux)
