Some cities in Poland have their holidays and they are an administrative anniversary or artificially created entertainment events. Often on the occasion of such events street fairs are organized for licensed handicrafts produces. Such fairs have two functions, are a form of folk entertainment but they are also the equivalent of regional fairs. A large share of sellers are small food producers and distributors. At fairs, bakery stallas prevail they are various breads, cakes and sweets. A large group of sellers focus on meat products, cheese processing, honey and silage. At the fairs you will also find clothing items decorated with folk ornaments and wooden products, but the most popular are food exhibitions.

Offered products are not cheap, their prices are a multiple of mass products that can be found in supermarkets and despite the fact that they are served on the street and “out of hand” are classified as luxury products. Sellers who offer their products often come from other regions. Fairs are not only another selling place for their products, but also a chance to establish cooperation with the owners of local stores who, apart from mass food, try to have a “shelf” of luxury food products.
