Ten years ago there were several hundred of then, today there are a handful left – we are talking about online bulletin boards, which after search engines are the most important part of public Internet.

Polish online annoucement websites do not fully use theri media potential. Nobody dynamically develops them. One may get the impresion that they were creatd accidentally. I see the reason for the lack of commitment and creativity in getting users. It is assumed in advance that another internet sell or joke is being created.

The Olx platform, strongly suppored by television campaigns, has the largest share in the classifieds market. The monopolist’s commercial policy and constant obstructions in adding advertiseents, which are becoming more and more free of charge, affct hits substantive weaknesses. Number of ads is falling. The Olx believes that the laziness of users has premanently bound them to the platform and will not move to another environment. Olx has also become a symbpo of favor for cheaters. Foold users reporting a problem with scammers to the site dministrator did not receive a response from him. The only administrative action was to post information on the page about caution. Thief accounts have ot been deleted and are still open.

Annoying Olx opened the way for another online announcement pages. Lento strongly strengthened, which in my opinion is quickly catching up with Olx giving now more openness for users. This makes Lento the Polish bulletin board tday, despite the act it is not as popular as Olx because what is popular does not mean that it is better.

Gumtree is a very strong competitor on the online bulletin board market in Poland. Gumtree outweighs its social category. Gumtree, as one of the popular online classifieds websites, administratively reacts to user’s signals, but reveals its infantile nature of volunteer employees. The website’s administrative help is very conflicting.

It is worth mentioning another noteworthly Polish bulletin board that we can add to the leaders and its feature is the efficincy of use. However, it has a ill-considered name and this prevents its development, Localmart. This is a good project, but administrators do not care about its development and it is possible that it will soon share the fate of other trash on the Internet, it is a pity because the Polish online announcement pages market lacks valuable and copetitive products.
