Every month in Poland there are horse competitions. In warmer periods, each week at the same time competitions are held in different localities. They differ in rank and degree of difficulty.

I decided to visit Walewice, one of the largest horse breeding studs in central Poland, where horse competitions were taking place. Of course, from the organizer of the competition, no news about the event by e-mail did not get, I do not know if it is a secret because of the fear of totlitar authorities in Poland, which banned public events or rather it is marketing ineptitude? As it turned out, more than 100 participants gathered at the competition, which indicates the high rank of the meeting and the hermetic character. The audience was less than the players and despite such conditions there were sponsors and booths with fast-food.

At the competition I did not meet zombies – people in anti-intrusive masks, horses also did not wear them, which indicates that Poles want to live actively and not as incompetent power in the state tells them. The atmosphere at the competition was very friendly, more sociable than the swinging event. Most of the riders are young people, usually girls from different equestrian schools. Is it embarrassing that women love horses more than men?

The horses participating in the competition were of different varieties, having difficulty identifying them, a young jockey informed me that this multitude of races is a problem even for experts in this field. The same obstacles were overcome by high horses and well-built awe-inspiring and small horses looking like ponies, but these little ones overcame obstacles much better than horses larger. It’s a discovery to me that a big horse here doesn’t mean he has the upper hand.

I do not know who won the competition and I will certainly not know, Walewice marketing decided that it is not worth sharing with me such a secret, but I certainly gained sympathy for this beautiful sport. (Brux)
