Before I saw it, I thought it would be bigger, it was about the tallest building in Poland that was built in Wroclaw. SkyTower has 215 m of total height and 52 storeys. From a distance, it looks slyly like a pin pounded into the map of the city. Stump, splinter in the board. It takes on more charm up close. But it will take a moment to look at this building to see that it is small. It is a high stick but a tight surface.

Wroclaw is a city heavily urbanized by historic architecture. There is no place for the construction of tall buildings in its center. Alone on the sidelines of the high-rise stump is a strong exposition but does not indicate its center and spoils the harmony of the city.
I wanted to know how much this construction cost and how much it costs to maintain it daily but I was not given this information. I also didn’t get any information from the office that started this building, how is it different from the other skyscrapers? I was also not given information about security systems and is the building safe?
No one tried to convince me that a building built for 5 years is a great achievement. Because in fact it turned out to be the expensive and the highest blunder in Poland. The era of high-rise office buildings has become a thing of the past with that of the NY WTC, the tallest tomb in the history of civilization. Cramped dovecotes are no longer safe and fashionable.
Modern corporate architecture refers to space. It tempts employees with small towns, comfort of various places for relaxation and meetings. In the hidden philosophy of modern workplaces, we find a reference to such conditions that the employee does not want to go home, so that his work becomes a second home. This is to guarantee a variety of space and variable buildings. An important part is natural light, living nature and air. These are no longer cramped bosky offices with a high degree of prison entrance/exit control. Today, luxury is perceived differently than in the 1960s, and the silhouettes of giant skyscrapers are becoming monuments to engineering art, but certainly not sophisticated jobs. Perhaps SkyTower will become the last of the giant skyscrapers built in Poland. It’s no longer worth the challenge of breaking the record. (Brux)
