It’s a archival material but I decided to publish it as a curiosity. In 2014, I listened on television that Skoda became the most popular car last year in Poland. I wanted to see if Skoda really took over the pockets of customers. How to check? Nothing easier is enough to go out with a notebook on the street. The research area I embraced the housing parking lot in which I live. This modest reconnaissance will give us an insight which the vehicle has an average resident of Lodz. Because it was very cold in research, I gave up for a 400 car, but it has already gave any insight into the ratio of the proportion of individual brands.

As we see from a chart of 50% of all vehicles I have noted this brand: Fiat, Opel, Volkswagen, Skoda, Ford, with this Fiat turned out to be a much most numerous brand of Polish car parks. The leader of the second fifty “minority” was Renault and immediately after that Toyota. When we combine German influence, this will turn out that they will amount to 36% of the entire automotive in Poland (I included the Skoda). The Japanese defended themselves at 15% like Fiat, and the French (I included Nissan) at 16%, that is, with an advantage over Japanese and Italian models. Korea only 9% or as much as Ford. In summary on the Polish market (2014), there are Germany later French, Italians, Japanese and Korea. I did not know who Ford counts, how much in these cars is German thoughts? Although today it is all very mixed. Soon, the determination of the brand’s nationality will stop functioning.
Holding a notebook on the street and noting the car brands in it in many Poles I was a sensation. I was asked if I was issuing criminal fines? I laughed at this, but on the other hand, where does this fear of poles before the mandate come from? Is because everywhere you put a car is a ban on parking? Because here housing estates are not adapted to cars. Such social behaviors suggest that somewhere subconsciously feel the atmosphere of a police country using the circumstances to impose unfamiliar penalties. (Brux)
