Forgotten History of Jewish Grave

In a close neighborhood mine belonging to Crusil company, and even one can say that on its area, there are artifacts an old Jewish cemetery. We do not know much about its history, because not much from the cemetery has been, maybe some overturned macews and dawn.

Nobody cares about the cemetery, the cemetery is not interested in the city authorities Inowlodz, neither the mine nor the Jewish commune. I learned that during the prevailing communism in Poland, in which Jewish origin and allocated elements of culture contrary to the ideology of communism were exterminited, without remorse, skeletons of buried people were excavated here in order to sell bones to medical students. The most interesting is that such an act of lack of respect for another culture came from the local authority in Poland. And although you can be surprised by this vandalism, not much in this alike changed, only the direction of the attack changed.

However, the abandoned cemetery has those who have not forgotten. Stacked stones on stone slabs testify that someone visits these graves and in this peculiar way he announces his memory. It’s a wonderful tradition, not flowers, not candles but pebbles, maybe found nearby, maybe brought with you from a very far away. The stone is a symbol of grass left in one place can survive for many years. When we leave with a visit, we leave a pebble over time, the mound of memory is collected, the greater the memory was stronger. (Brux)
