Poland has a rich historical past, and the most popular interests of Poles include historical reconstruction. It is hard to find out how many historical reconstruction groups are in Poland, nobody counts. Some groups occur in the form of other associations operate as informal organizations called brotherhoods. I tried to make contact but none of the groups knocked out on my e-mail. Perhaps for those lovers of history a computer is a too modern communication tool, but I did not have access to pigeons.

A group of historical reconstruction play an important role in building historical consciousness of Poles. They constitute a valuable element of tourist attractions and carry a commercial character with each other. They are rented by the authorities of cities for occasional events, to emphasize the historical image of the city. How much can you earn? Unfortunately, I could not determine.

Group of reconstruction historical people create persons passing in history that need to experience it directly than only by reading books. A very interesting period is the Middle Ages and fashionable among groups and brotherhoods to organize knightly tournaments. Such tournaments take place in many places in Poland and have a similar character to sport. However, this is not centrally classified and it is difficult to find out in the rank of such professions. In the majority of cases, this is a fun that is to get money from the pocket of bored tourists.

Such tournaments take place in Poland quite often in various locations ordinary, during the summer in the shadow of medieval castles of Poland but there is no single source of feeding information where they are organized. You have to look for it. For me, this is a proof of bad media deigning, i.e. the lack of ability to cooperate with the media groups, I experienced. It should be forgiven after all, such skills were not taught.

I tried to make a map with places where knights’ tournaments take place. These are, of course, all places but those about which I managed to know. Unfortunately in Poland obtaining information is not easy. (Brux)
