They have been active from 18 years and they deal with the collection of historical information about the fate of Polish regiments of the Polish Army which during the interwar period were stationed in Poland. Today, this is part of central Poland. Association of the 28th Regiment of Kaniowski Riflemans, this is the name of the organization (the name “Kaniowski” comes from the village of battle) it counts about forty lovers of history. Their enthusiasm in the save of memories and historical documentation can amaze.

Thanks to the favor of the Medical Academy in Lodz city, which is housed in the building of the former military barracks of the interwar period, The association received a rooms for storing found documents and military artifacts that period. This was how a small museum of memories dedicated to the army of the reborn Polish after 100 years of captivity.
