Carefully with Lycamobile

Each local telephone operator offers foreign connections. It is difficult for me to understand why only one telephone operator with headquarters in England can sell its services simultaneously in many countries as part of the same network, by making cheaper connections if individuals call each other with SIM cards of the same Lycamobile network.

This monopolist tempted me to take advantage of the service Lycamobile. And although the undertaking seems to be ideally at the very beginning I was disappointed.

The Lycamobile SIM card can be bought in Poland almost in every store, especially where tobacco and alcohol are sold. You need to buy a package to the SIM card by the Lycamobile online platform and here everything is best. The Lycamobile shopping platform is the worst I met on the Internet. This is a typical sloppy english style. No attention to intuitiveness of procurement operations and transparency of information.

I have purchased two packages at the same time. One on phone calls, second on data transfer or Internet. I paid for both packages but I was activated only one. The Polish Customer Service Office Lycamobile first told me that I bought only one package. As it turned out that on the transaction card there are two payments, it started to convince me that one package has already consumed and that’s why I have only one active package.

In Poland there are provisions to protect the buyers remotely and if someone is not satisfied with the purchase via the Internet has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 7 days. Seller has a duty to sange money. Because I did not use one package, I submitted a recall and withdrawal from the purchase agreement. Lycamobile consciously ignored it breaking the provisions in force in Poland. I came to the Consumer Protection Office in Poland, but today I did not receive any answer. This is how the law of consumer protection in Poland are only theoretical. Sellers in Poland can still cheat consumers with impunity.

Relevant Lycamobile I want to share another discovery that I was looking for analyzing the costs of telephone connections with Denmark. Telephone conversations from the Danish SIM card are cheaper than from Polish. The data transfer is similarly accounted for. This suggests that it is worth analyzing in which country the Lycamobile SIM card will give the cheapest connections and which from the Money Transfer Systems use to recharge the phone at the lowest cost of currency. It’s a bit complex but it’s a way to cheat those who try to cheat you. (Brux)
