Another thing that will surprise you in Poland will be crosses standing on the roads in fatalities of accidents. This is a kind of tribute after the victims made by the native people who died in this place. Interestingly, in Poland there are regulations that prohibit (without permission) to put other constructure on the roads that are not a dorgic infrastructure, but no one dare to move these crosses.
These crosses are not only a testimony to the tragic events in this place, but they play an awareness role. When I walk next to such a place, the question always comes to mind, what exactly happened here? Is someone else thinking about it except me? I think so.
I have already written about the fact that Poles scholars are road aggression in the regulations that apply in Poland. These provisions refer to who is due to priority and there is not a word about respect for other traffic participants. And this respect is not forced and not promoted. I see the general contradictions of Polish road regulations towards recognized rules of road traffic and I am surprised that only local rules are not respected in this country, which are sometimes as stupid as the authorities in this country.
I drive a car almost every day and I’m afraid of Polish drivers. Recently, I have been more and more afraid of those on bicycles and scooters. Two-wheelers in Poland have a very privileged status, and people using them in Poland do not respect anything. (Brux)
