Poles fell into the hysteria of the GDPR Act

Poles fell into the hysteria of the GDPR Act (RODO in Poland), suddenly everything became a private secret meanwhile, the OLX Polska internet platform boasts strong tab position with job offers recognized as the best source of personal data leakage. Anyone can publish a favorable job offer and extort a hundered resumes CV with photos. Manager assistants’ offer are popular.

Out of curiosity, I notified the office in Poland that invoked the GDPR Act that someone entered my personal data and I do not agree. In response, I received advise to report it ti the police. We already know how the police work in Poland. (When reportin a problem, you are first checked if you are not wanted. It’s very humilitating). Dear Sir or Madam, this was no joke. GDPR is a haven for cheaters. It protects high-ranking officials from leaking information about the “rollers” they privately “spin”. The purpose of the GDPR is to build obstacles to controlling the work of state offices and officials. Other criminal organizations take advantage of this, it is easier to hide many things. However, for the average citizen it is a spectacle, because nothing can be arranged without disclosing personal data. Everyone must agree to the disclosure of such data. Regarding the flow of this information, nothing has changed for years. On the other hand, offices have another tool to make it difficult for applicants to deal with offical matters. I have already written about the fact that it is enough to change your place of residence and in accordance with Polish law, if you have a new adress, you are already presenting yourself as someone who you are not on the basis of inconsistencies in documents, and these changes cannot bo made immediately. I recommend the article how bailiffs appropriate the money of creditors who have just changed their address details. This is what GDPR is for. And describing such cases in public is a very serious offense in Poland, or at least that’s how I was instructed. So, GDPR is a good business for many.

So you can’t fault OLX advertising, because if the GDPR was about true protection of society’s presonal data, the OLX platform would be immediately closed and not only OLX. It is assumed tht people cannot function anonymously unless they are cheaters and everyone is a potential fraudster, so you need to collect data about him – this is how the police ideology in Poland works based on the GDPR.
