The Most Funny Plant in Poland is a “Blowball”

The “Blowball” is a fluffy form of a faded, yellow dandelion flower called milk from white juice in the stem. It is a favorite plant by children who break the stems and blow the flower from the flower stamens equipped with parachutes. The fun is to observe the seeds raised by the wind. These are the first flowers that are known by young children.

Dandelions appear at the end of April. They grow everywhere and are classified as the most malicious weeds. There are over 200 dandelion varieties in Poland, but nobody notices it. What counts is fun in blowing seeds, which ends at the end of August, when the period of releasing fruit by flowers passes. (Brux)
