Do you know that half of the songs is dedicated to love? Some performers create music only with a lovely thread, because it certainly sells it well. It may also be that the feeling of love stimulates man more to artistic activity, hence such an abundance of works on the subject of love.

Let’s look now which of the Polish songs about love have become the mostmented in Polish history of popular music according to Brux? In the assessment, I took into account not only the emotional load of the text but also the form of its musical setting.

Unfortunately, I cannot attach the described songs here. Contemporary art is subject to legal consequences. Artistic works gradually become an object available only to the elites.

10th place “Przesliczna wiolonczelistka” (Beautiful cellist)
Perfomer: Skaldowie
It is a song from 1969 but its musical value is still competitive with contemporary creatures.

9th place “Jak ze stali i ze szkla” (Like steel and glass)
Perfomer: Aya RL
The song from 1990 with a very simple but interesting and boldly experimental musical form.

8th place “Siedem minut na milosc” (Seven minutes for love)
Perfomer: Art Cafe
Very gentle musical background of the modern generation of performers. The song ricochet takes up the current topic of lack of time for love and distance between people. Although the song has a very poor disco instrumentarium, but with its gentleness it can be deeply remembered.

7th place “Milosc jak ogien” (Love like fire)
Performer: Edyta Bartosiewicz
A great comparison of love for fiery feelings that go from one person to another, sung by the legendary Polish singer Edyta Bartosiewicz .

6th place “Dziewczyna mojego chlopaka” (My boyfriend’s girlfriend)
Performer: Monika Brodka
Another performer of the young generation describes teenage love with his eyes. Not always successful.

5th place “Dotykaj mnie” (Touch me)
Performer: Stare Dobre Malzenstwo
Here we have pure poetry. Very difficult poetry of the language of comparisons, which is ideal for describing the feelings of love. Excellent music is so selected that it is difficult to imagine another foundation for this poetic content.

4th place “Juz bez Ciebie” (Already without you)
Performer: Bajm
The beautiful and intricately refined song sung by the greatest star of Polish music Beata Kozidrak from the band Bajm. Bajm produced a lot of songs dedicated to love, but the song mentioned here in my opinion is the best production in the whole of this band.

3rd place “Magiczne słowa” (Magic Words)
Performer: Ziyo
My very subjective assessment. I love this song and its very creative instrumental form. Pay attention to the deformation of the bass and the escalation of the dynamics of the song. This is the best song of the Ziyo band.

2nd place “Serce w butonierce” (Heart in a buttonhole)
Performer: Formacja Niezywych Schabuff
This song has a magical atmosphere. It is like a different reality dimension. The song talks about unfulfilled love to be found in the future. Not easy to understand, but beautiful. Listen for yourself.

1st place “Ja ogien ty woda” (I fire you water)
Performer: Wilki
This is a comparison of the emotions of a man and a woman to two extreme elements that, although they differ very much, in combination with each other. The excellent wavy music of the band perfectly reflects the atmosphere of rising and falling emotions. All you have to do is listen to this song louder and your head will start swaying. Try it.

Most of these songs are quite old productions. Currently, such good music is created. The modern music market in Poland offers cheap trash. If you know more beautiful songs than those I mentioned here, let me know. (Brux)
